Belvedere Safaris comprises of 16 000 acres of beautiful bushveld and golden grassland characteristic of the region known as the Karoo. This typical African landscape, dominated by rugged mountains is the habitat of a wide range of indigenous wildlife including many trophy – quality species for the discerning hunter.
In addition, there are concessionary agreements with surrounding ranches affording in excess of 250 000 acres of hunting territory. Belvedere is well represented in the Record Book of the Safari Club International listed under Bedford.

The African Safari is one of the greatest experiences a hurter can have. Not only in the incredible amount of different game available, but in the vastness of this great land with its ever-changing vegetation. Your Hunting Experience
Belvedere Safaris offers trophy and cull hunting of 40 species of game. Ranging from the diminutive Blue Duiker to the magnificent Eland, largest of all the antelope. You can stalk the elusive Bushbuck in the thick riverside bush, hunt the Gray Reedbuck in his inaccessible mountain home and test your hunting skills to the limit trying to outwit that, grey ghost, the majestic Kudu Bull and the raging Buffalo. Game bird and wildfowl shooting can be arranged for the shot gunner.

Belvedere Safaris not only caters for the hunter but also the nature lover and adventurer for the whole family, from educational hikes through the bush to unforgettable night drives.
You will get the chance to spot some of Africa’s elusive nocturnal animals including genet, porcupine and antbear. Game drives will ensure that you will never forget the beauty surrounding you.
On non-hunting days, we can arrange excursions to national parks, coastal tours, or even organize an exciting deep-sea fishing trip.

Our journey with Belvedere Safaris began in 2008, when my father and I participated in a five-day father-and-son hunting course. Every detail is thoughtfully considered, from the expertly catered meals to the large, welcoming fires, the thrilling game drives, and even the rare opportunity to join in on a game capture, if the timing is right.
